Our team at RAINS Pharmacy is working hard around the clock in order to improve patients’ health outcomes. In addition to keeping our pharmacy well-stocked, we provide each customer with personalized attention and reliable services that make getting healthy convenient. With a holistic approach to each person and comprehensive medication management protocols, we’re serving our customers by giving them easy access to the medications and services they need and deserve.

Merideth Chavez, PharmD

Owner/Operator

Merideth and her husband, RC have been in Emory since 2014 and have two daughters. Merideth has over 15 years in retail pharmacy experience. She grew up and graduated from Rains High School and studied to receive her Bachelors degree at ETBU in Marshall, Texas. She graduated from Incarnate Word Pharmacy School in San Antonio, Texas. "I am dedicated to care for the community I grew up in by providing compassionate care for patients and customers day in and day out."

John Droblyn, PharmD

Partner

John is a partner in the business, and he and his wife Christi Droblyn live, work, shop and worship in Lindale. They have 2 children Morgan, and Ashley, and have lived in Lindale since 2009 after graduating with a Doctorate from ULM College of Pharmacy in Monroe, Louisiana. They attend Grace Community church and support many various missionaries across the world.

Kedrick Larry, CPHT

Partner

Kedrick is a partner in the business and graduate of East Texas Baptist University with over 26 years of pharmacy experience, including hospital and retail, specializing in compounding. He and his beautiful wife have been married over 22 years and live in East Texas.

John Runion, DDS, CPHT

Dr. Runion is a retired dentist after 33 years practicing at his office in Emory. He and his wife, Teresa, have 4 children and 16 grandchildren. He graduated from Baylor Dental School in Dallas.

Teresa Runion, M.Ed

Front Store Manager

Teresa is a retired teacher with 35 years of experience including 32 years at Rains ISD. She has her Master of Science in Education. She and her husband, John, have been in Emory since 1982 and are members of Emory Baptist Church.

Frank Watson, CPhT

Lead Tech, Compounding Tech

Frank is a customer service specialist with 10 years of experience in retail pharmacy. He has been trained to specialize in compounded medications, medication synchronization, specialty medication packaging, and third party billing.

Megan Wright

Pharmacy Associate

Megan graduated from Rains High School in 2006 and currently lives in Miller Grove with her husband and 2 girls. She has been Phlebotomy certified since 2014 and has 5 years of medical field experience. "I am excited for this new journey in the pharmacy field and look forward to serving the Rains County community."

In the end, it is important to me that each customer receives a beautiful hand made creation that they love.

We are a family farm growing a diverse number of crops in a healthy, sustainable way. These include strawberries, blueberries and blackberries which we sell through our farmers markets and Pick Your Own operation here at the farm.
